SMILING at the people around you when waiting in line at the bank, engaging them in a nice conversation, is a “simple” act yet great kindness we can create every day.
Aesop said, no act of kindness, however small, is ever wasted. And if it has no effect on the recipient, at least it benefits the bestower. And never worry about doing a kindness too soon, because you never know how soon it will be too late. Do not save your kindness and loving speeches for your friends till they are dead; Do not write them on their tombstones, speak them rather now instead.
The most important, the keyword of kindness is starting! Don’t wait for people to be friendly, just show them how. No one needs a smile as much as a person who fails to give one.
Dale Carnegie, my favourite guru of kindness said, “You can make more friends in two months by becoming interested in other people than you can in two years by trying to get other people interested in you.”
Kindness is not weakness. The weak can never be kind and forgive. These are the attribute of the strong.
So, smile…. BLITZ!
